Smart Medicine (NGO) took part in organizing face-to-face classroom trainings and interactive round tables on kidney, endometrium and hepatocellular cancer, and “Eisai Virtual Oncology Key Experts (EVOKE) Academy” meetings for oncologists. The events took place in 12 cities of Russia, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Pyatigorsk, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Yaroslavl and Kazan.

Effectiveness of modern anticancer molecules and drug combinations, most promising therapeutic regimens, issues of drug provision and patient routing were highlighted by cancer specialists during lectures and debates, voting and discussion sessions, and clinical case reports.

Best practices in hematology shared with Russian specialists. 200 hematologists and oncologists of many regions in Russia took part in "Malignant Lymphomas" (the XIX Moscow-based international conference) on October 26-28, thanks to the efforts of Smart Medicine’s team.

Two busy days involved a lively and frank discussion on issues of hematological and oncological service, reviews on hematology/oncology history and near future, sharing of national and international experience in treating lymphoproliferative diseases, and the latest scientific and clinical data.

  • The First Internationally Validated European Guidelines Meeting on Minimally Invasive Pancreatic Surgery held in the Italian city of Brescia in September;
  • European Digestive Surgery (EDS) Postgraduate Course, June 9-11, Belgrade (Serbia);
  • 18th World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery (WCES 2022) in Busan (South Korea), one of the most reputable events in the field of minimally invasive interventions.
